ORLC Will Resume In-Person Services

I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!” – Psalm 122:1

This past weekend, the leadership team at ORLC decided to resume in-person services starting this weekend on 6/14/2020. We will be following Olympia’s Safe Start Guidance by holding our services outside in the south parking lot of the church.

Since we will be meeting outside, here are a few things to consider.

  • Please bring your own lawn chairs. Sit them with your household and maintain spacing between households.
  • Per King County’s Face Mask Directive with a few exceptions, if you come within 6 ft of another person a face mask should be worn. We will have a few face masks available for anyone who wishes to wear one.
  • A digital bulletin with song lyrics will be published which will contain song lyrics and scripture readings. Feel free to print or bring your mobile device to follow the service.
  • The sacrament will be available to worshipers at the conclusion of the service. It will be received by household.
  • We will be at the mercy of the weather. Look for an announcement on Saturday on www.orlckirkland.org, ORLC’s Facebook Page, or on Twitter (@orlckirkland) for an announcement as to whether outdoor service will be held the next day. If the outdoor service is canceled, an online service will be available.

More details are to follow in the coming days. Peace be with you!
