Day 2 we are reminded of those who do not have ready access to clean water. In order to drink, bathe, and clean, families are often forced to pull their children out of school in order to walk to the nearest clean water well.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t use water fountains in public places because they are not usually very clean. And yet, the water is perfectly safe to drink. What would life look like if I had to have someone in my family walk to the nearest public water fountain and carry gallons of water back for us to use for the day?
Today, if you are a coffee or tea drinker, you might get a headache. When you do, think about how grateful we can be that we have easy access to clean water and pray for those who do not.
